Dumbarton, Bowderstone, Trowbarrow, Parisella's, The Tor in a nice skewed horseshoe shaped trip  :strongbench:

Am I right in thinking that you once did a day hit to Snowdonia, The Tor and Woodwell only to end up at The Depot in Leeds because "everywhere was wet"?

I truly hope that is true, but even Crouch can't be that stupid.  Can he?

I think you may be confusing it with my morning trip to a wet Bowderstone, then to Kendal wall only to realise the new bouldering area was shit... we then headed to a predictably wet Woodwell. We then hit the motorway to go to the depot and turned back from past Manchester as Mike had gone the pass instead of the shop, so I had to return to Liverpool! Nothing like a total waste of fuel  :slap:

Or maybe it was the trip with Beastio to Anston, then Roche, then Raven Tor and over to the cave with a brief stop to chat with Cheshire police and pick up 3 points before getting a kfc meal in Llandudno and attempting some headtorch bouldering with a couple of beers.

Apologies for the  :offtopic:

p.s. I Reckon you should defo go to St Bees for a couple of days if you get the chance.

See, you should definitely trust this man's advice about a bouldering roadtrip  :slap:

I remember that day, sat in my house for ages waiting for the crouch to call to say he'd got to the Depot only to text him hours later to find he was in the pool again.

That sounds quite an epic trip/fail! I'm quite keen for St Bees though. May head up there next week when I'm home too..
