Following my disastrous experience with these forks (see other thread...) and my purchasing of some luvverly DT Swiss' I recently managed to get these fully rebuilt under out-of-warranty warranty.

After a fair bit of hassle trying to deal with the new distributors (Cycling Sports Group)  :furious:, EVANS (who i originally bought the bike off mail-order due to it being an insurance coupon thing) opened a store right next to my office and eventually did the decent thing for me.  :clap2:

The forks have apparently had all-new internals put in (not checked this for obvious reasons), which is evidenced by a shiny new blue anodised air valve set-up under the fork crown. They have offered me a 90 day warranty on them (obviously not transferrable to a third-party), which I guess at least indicates they have *some* confidence in their re-build.... (all work performed by TF Tuned)

I'm now wanting rid of them as my DT Swiss forks outperform these in every dept (apart from weight i guess?). I'm aware that the interest is likely to be (very) limited, but i figured i'd offer them up here before i stick them on fleaBay or similar. Maybe good for someone with an older C'dale frame whose older headshoks are screwed (and i've seen a fair few people riding around on "flat" headshoks over the past few years!).

I'm hoping to get some cash for them for beer money at an up-coming mate's hen do in Berlin, but would consider alternatives such as swopsies.  :icon_beerchug:

Make me an offer!  :tumble:

Hi, wondering if you sold your dlr80 headshok yet and, if not, if you have a price in mind.  Thanks,
/robert

Sorry i sold these in the summer for £150. I switched them for some luvverly DT Swiss forks and the difference was amazing. Wouldn't touch c'dale forks again with a barge pole.
