Gymnastic Floor Core Exercises
September 30, 2011, 10:35:53 am
Hello

Does anyone have book recommendations, links or knowledge about floor exercises to strengthen core, shoulders, back etc? I've seen this (http://www.dragondoor.com/articles/building-an-olympic-body-through-bodyweight-conditioning/default.aspx) article.

I have been working on a couple of exercises (planche and L-sit) but it would be nice to understand more about these and learn others, with their progressions. Obviously this is for make benefit better climber.

Cheers

Seb

Thanks for those. Something to read at the weekend!

Does anyone know what the following exercise might be called: lie on back and do a footless press-up. Thanks. Sounds hard!

No, you use your hands. Imagine lying on your back and, keeping your body horizontal, press away with your hands.
