makes more sense to buy a mat with padding in it.
if you get a pod you'll save a few $$$ and it'll last centuries longer.

franklin are bo too but you should really buy handmade british.

Been looking at replacing my old S7 mat and the only mats I would even entertain are POD or Franklin.

Granted, but it is so difficult to get hold of in the UK.

Had 2 and never had too much trouble getting 'em. I've had the newest one for about 6 months and simply ordered it from my local climbing shop. 2-3 weeks later it turned up no problems. So I guess if you're not in a hurry..............

Do they not have a Uk distributor anymore?

Thought it was distributed by Pusher, who's gear has been difficult to get hold of for some time.

s7 used to distribute pusher and cordless but since they/he went west i don't think there has been a distributor.

regardless, cordless pads don't last anywhere near as well as pod mats - mine went downhill pretty sharpish to the extent that it now sits in dave's cellar

buy british

get a POD one, mine is amazing. But it always a question of personal choice, get the one that you like the most.

Get POD- its the bollocks :D

Laurie's had a POD mat for about four or five years now n it's still tha bomb!  Ive got one of the new ones n think its ace.  Franklin are pretty fly too but a bit bulky me thinks.
