Man Of Steel - Beginner's Wall
May 15, 2011, 08:03:51 pm
Just wondering how eliminate this problem is, from the topo (found here http://www.vimeo.com/groups/ukbouldering/view_file:4693) I can't work out whether the jug about a foot down and right of the finishing spike jug is in. I know people who have done it both with and without but it would be cool to know how it was originally done for font 7b...
cheers

Wotcha yoof,

Can't comment on how it was originally done - I didn't use that jug but can't see how it would make it any easier either? It seemed intuitive to me that that hold was on Swing Time, but these aren't eliminates so if you can reach it and it helps why not? Have a vid somewhere if its any use?

Cheers Matt

in reply to dave: that sounds like the one, i used it with the left to go over to the spike jug on swing time and it seems within easy reach with the right when trying man of steel. if it's in then i reckon im sorted, keep swinging off going for the last move from the small holds :S

in reply to matt: if you could upload your vid to youtube or something that would be cool :)
