I'm after a new torrent download manager, have been using azureus (or vuze as its now called) for a while now and I like it but the trouble is it eats up shit loads of memory.
What the recomendations for a low resource, user freindly torrent download manager?

When i was a pc man i used Bit Comet. Never had problems. Had encryption to fool the ISP, it did exactly what it said on the tin.

http://www.utorrent.com/

263kb!

I only hear good things about utorrent.

(Although personally I have transmission running on my NSLU2 which is permanently on and when I want to add/remove/manage torrents I just point the browser on whatever computer I'm on at the time to the web-page interface and can manage it all from there).

I'm another one converted from Azureus to uTorrent.

Can't fault it so far.

seems good, well down the list on memory usage in task manager, 4th or 5th place compared to vuze which was always 1st

Just switched from Bit torrent to utorrent.  Saving loads of space, not noticed any difference at all in performance, they look and feel exactly the same. But then, ever since I cleared the Dalmatian sexy-p.ornz from the laptop, thing have been peachy across the board.

It's self-invite open-season to the following private torrent sites:   www.stmusic.org and www.supertorrents.org for a limited period.   STMusic is as you would expect, supertorrents is applications, games, sexy po.rnz etc..
