i was thinking just in terms of wrapping said pushchair in a tarp and bungeeing it on the bars - its this not street anymore? its how we used to roll when i was a youth.

I personally find it easier to put the pram in the boot and fill the roofbox with shizzle.  But I can't see a problem with tying the pram to the roof, other than the GBH of the ear holes when the wife finds out its got wet/dirty/broken/lost on the M74.

only because I know a bargain when I see one!  ;) £80 for a box AND bars when the bars alone cost more than that new. It won't be there long. I might snaffle it and flog it for a profit.
