tomtom - I'm a dumbass when it comes to computers (as this thread shows) so I don't reckon my opinions will give a lot of insight. However, once I've been using the Toshiba a little longer I might have a go. All I know at the moment is it runs nice and quickly (and I've not upgraded the memory yet) and the battery lasts about 3 hours which is more than enough for my purposes.

lagers - Er, can't remember! The silver and gold don't actually look that different (see below), I'll have a look later. It's certainly an ungeeky bit of kit and I like the fact that it looks less like a kids toy than most netbooks.
