Looks hopelessly simplefied to me. In my view, most elbow problems are NOT TENDONITIS!
Agree on both counts (do you mean not tendons or not inflammation (-itis) or both?).
I mistrust anyone who advocates anti-inflammatories for tendon problems. Tendon problem are probably degenerative and need physical stressing to recover. Anti-inflammatories have been shown to be of no help. They also fuck your stomach and kill people.
I've still not come up with a better treatment for my dodgy (golfer's type) elbow than lots of easy trad. and ice after (on the elbows, not climbing the stuff). Oh and stay away from computers, keep your neck and mid-back flexible, and keep generally fit and active. Try not to stress out, cortisol is no good for your connective tissues and depression-anxiety lowers pain thresholds.
I find diagnosing and coming up with a plan of action for someone with a shoulder problem is pretty challenging when the person is there in front of you. How you're supposed to diagnose yourself from a website I wouldn't know.
