Amazing!!! this is some of the best news i've heard in years, its great to hear that Sam's climbing again and has found time out of his work to have a little holiday. Once again (after 6 years out) he's out crushing some of the worlds hardest blocs. Does this mean Gazza has had to give his cordless pad back i wonder? guess it aint much use in the Tyndells. Sam resembled a burlier version of Fred Nicole when i met him 3 years ago and he wasn't even climbing then.

According to 8a.nu (I swear I only looked at it cos a friend told me about this ascent, I don't make a habit of it  :ang: ) Nalle has repeated it as well.

Bloody hell, that's a good effort. Why'd he have 6 years out?

He's Tasmanian. Famous for stealing Goldfish Trombones from under Fred Nicole's nose quite a few years ago. Beast.

I met him in Yosemite this year, he was trying Dominated. Not sure if he got it done as weather crapped out and he went to Bishop. Nice guy though.

You know you're becoming truly Australian when you classify Taswegians as being not quite the same as the rest of us!  ;)

Why was Tasmania where really bad criminals went, whereas Australia is populated by the descendants of common criminals? :)
