Nibile I think he means potentially the hardest line in the cave.

In Hell start (7c+/8a) into Louis Armstrong (8b) into Halfway House (8a+) into Upper Cut (7b/+!) = 8c+!?

or

In Hell start (7c+/8a) into Louis Armstrong (8b) into half of Bonnie (8a) into the unclimbed line (8a/+?) leading across into the end of Left Wall High (7a) = 8c+?

The cave is still a long way from maturity. All we need is a new breed of super mutants and it will happen. Did somebody mention Liam Desroy?

climbing straight out of the cave is the best line.

pilgramage start into halfway house into silk cut. awesome probably 8c, or 8a+ if danny does it ;)

I'm dead busy at the moment (got a list of pressing jobs as long as my albatross arm), but if I get some time in the next month I'll try and put together an interim topo.

Surely this is a bit like "what's the biggest number?". You can alway do another move...

Not really, the lines I described do have logic. i.e. start at the back and climb out to the front of the cave.

Admittedly the swerve into Louis Armstrong is avoiding the easier parallel option of RA.

If you took the easiest line from the In Hell start to the finish of Bonnie (8a+ straight into an 8a+) it would still probably be 8b+/c. As would the easiest line from the In Hell (8a+) into Halfway House into Upper Cut (8a+/b).

thats old news jim.

I reckon Pilgrimage start (harder than in hell start these days) into Louis Armstrong into Bonnie (such a short hard bloc, would be a very frustrating redpoint crux). Fuck knows what grade though  :o
