I tell you I'm bloody glad to get shut of this week. :hyper:
Unbelivebly the weather actually looks alright for tomorrow:

So is anyone getting out tomorrow? Any bright ideas? I don't know where to go/what to try........ :?:
-
Know what you mean mate, I should have took today off as well.
I was quite happily videoing away yesterday, safe in the knowledge that I could have a good day out tomorrow.....until I remembered I've got to drop my car off for service at 9am, and pick it back up at 1pm, which pretty much scuppers the day :vamp:
I might try to get out late on, but dunno, might leave it 'til Sunday and do some work on the house, but I don't think the Sunday forcast is that great. Where to go? dunno really, might have to go onto the high edges - the stuff in the trees might be a bit damp and dingy. If I do get out, I might go explore the far left end of Burbage South to escape the crowds. No particular project, just be nice to do some new problems.

Sunday looks toss:

:crying:

Yeah, typical, isn't it?
The forcasts for yesterday looked toss until the day before so I'm holding out hope for a miracle sunny day Sunday.
-
Luckily for me I've got to view a house on sunday, and otherwise on girlfriend duty :bang: , so I don't have the dreaded Sat/Sun descision to make!
-
Sloper is at Brimham :blow:
-
Ha! Or should it be :bash:
We know you love him really though... not like :bang: , but more like :drink:
We're like kids in a toyshop with these smilies - the novelty will wear off one day!

You need to get her out bouldering - god knows, I've tried but she just won't see logic of going outsite when it's freezing :(
-
Tell me about it!
She doens't seem to be entertained enough by sitting on a rock in my down jacket watching me warm up, then fail on a problem 30 times then go home. Same as she didn't appreciate walking from Redmires to the Buckstone just so i could fail on the dyno, and then walk back. I just can't understand it
-
heh heh!
I'm getting worried about ever getting her out now though - I was watching yesterdays video from the Plantation and there was a bit where I was just filming everyone from the top of Brad Pit, talking about the sequence, slapping and brushing holds and that.......and.....she accused boulderers of being geeky
-
Look like the weather forecast was scarily accurate this week! It really was shite yesterday. Luckily i got out on saturday.....
In fact i had a great day on saturday. Finally did Blind Date which i've been trying all year, so I'm cock-a-hoop about that.
Bumped into ukb's official short-arse Mr. LC and his young lady AC. I've got to say seeing the short-man's method on the Nose was a real eye-opener  . Lets just say I'm glad I'm 6foot. Nice one fella.
Also did a great problem at West which I belive is Breakfast, from the database on this very site. A kind of sharp fin/arete thing on superb rock. Its reyt good, i can thougherly recomend it to anyone.
-
Blind Date - eeek! I can't even move on that thing, well done sir!
Ha, so you have met ye legendary Herefordian Dwarrrrrf ? He is a bit of a technical guru though.
Mark will be chuffed - Breakfast is his creation - I went to try it once but it were soaked, otherwise of course I'd have flashed it :P , but I agree, it is nice rock round there.
-
Two hours to go - yeah man! Then tonight I can :alco:
-
Two hours to go then i can  :bang:

hahaha! I think you win the prize for most creative use of emoticons so far!

Or maybe more accuratley the final 2 emoticons should be:

So long as it's not got to:
