Apparently Sonnie went for the lead tonight. Sadly the bumflap on UKC who broke the news only told us this much and now is withholding the outcome. :spank: We shall have to wait and see.
-
Fucking good effort by whoever's witholding the story. I'm quite happy to wait a bit, purely to see/imagine the UKC Propaganda Queen get his knickers in a twist. :devangel:

Haha! That is true. He should break it on here and rile him!

maybe the glasgow haircut helped.

It would appear he stacked the lead and took a good whipper.
Nice to see Dave's route isnt going without a good fight.

His blog (http://www.sonnietrotter.com/roadlife.php) has details of it and he is hinting at something re: the route though quite what I have no idea - regardless it makes for some good reading - probably the best blog out there at the minute IMO.

He had another, unsuccessful, go last night. Still coming off at the same bit as the other night. Apparently he can do the top move that Dave fell from initially so if he manages the move he's struggling on now, he should be sorted to do it. Maybe.
I feel it's my duty to report he did take his top of mid-route and should most definitely be on the 'fit blokes...' thread :-*

All the superb places to climb in Scotland and he travels half way round the world to climb at Dumbarton. He needs therapy, that boy

The hardest route (?) in the UK is an eliminate (http://www.sonnietrotter.com/roadlife.php) :o
Seriously tho - the guy comes across as having such a great attitude. Best climbing blog on the web?

Oy, I'll have none of that! At least I said why I did it.
by the way I did do a new 8b in Torridon this weekend. Poorly Photosohpped pictures and flowery prose description to follow.
