I like to put it up somewhere conspicuous in the house, ideally it should be visible from the sofa. Then on returning from the pub with a lady in tow, I scatter magazines with myself in on the coffee table, don a vest and do onearm hangs whilst chatting. Other than that I don't use it really.

Nah, Dense rarely if ever uses capitals.  His punctuation's a dead giveaway too.  ;D

Which bit of 'lady in tow' made you think it was Dense?

Have you ever seen them going home with him willfully?

Willfully perhaps, willingly is harder to imagine...

Go to dave mcleods website.

Im by no means an expert on the subject (however dave clearly is) but there is a good summary on here which makes it clear how simple fingerboarding can be.

 ;D

i don't bother with capitals or punctuation since i'm not writing a book and i prefer to give the reader something to concentrate the mind other than the story as you know the fingerboard is in the cellar i'm just waiting for the heavier door to be delivered before going back down

You know too much about Mark for your own good. The only part you missed was the important factor of donning the same vest that's in the photographs in the magazines, and wearing little else.

Oh, these are useful: http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/howto-10min.htm

I did those for a while, then changed to the Moon routine.  I personally got more benefits from the latter.  Not to say the 10 minute routines don't help.

Is there a problem with the Moon Website or the whole shebang? Doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Nope, works fine for me Mr K.
Here's (http://www.moonclimbing.com/SchoolRoom.aspx?ID=20) the Buoux8c regime.  I quite like it.

mark,
right now i mostly do one arm deadhangs, max 6", but i have done also weighted pull ups locking for 3" at 90° and then finishing the pull up, and also simply lock offs and one armers as a test.
recently i started doing also a power endurance routine, it's 20" hang, 20" rest x 10 times x 3 sets. 8 mins rests. different holds (you have to choose them so that 20" is your max. you're obviously hanging less in the following tries and sets).
