Anyone got a pair of these yet? Wondered what the fit was like. Same as Dragon/V10 size wise i am guessing?

Hi Adam,
Just got the Jet 7 in at Needle Sports. They look awesome and are VERY comfortable but still highly down turned on the toe. I reckon if you get them small enough they should be as good as the the V10s or Dragons. I'm a size 9 and the size 8 Jet 7s are on the comfy side with the size 7.5 feeling about right. They are much easier to put on.
Nice shoe!

I'd recommend (to anyone who wishes to try these) that they go about a full size down from the dragons or v10's the lack of a closure system near the toe means that you better size them right. I don't necessarily think comfy is the way to go with these shoes.

apparently they're meant to be the same as the V10's and Dragons. But seeing as it's from 5.10, that means absolutely jack

would be worth knowing what these are like to climb in.. though personally I dont hold out much hope and cant quite believe five ten have got rid of the v10... also probably worth noting Paul Robinson started an online petition to save the v10..

They are very different from the dragons'/v10's to climb in, there's limited rigidity in the toe region and hence you loose any sort of down toe capability you might expect from the shoe. I'm sure they'll be great for some stuff but imo they aren't for the steep stuff.

so a few months have passed. some more feedback?
i am about to get me a new pair of shoes, and am torn between the usual dragon (the one with the heel fully covered in rubber, without the red leather patches) or the jet 7.
i've heard they are softer both in the sole and in the heelcup.
it's worth saying that i already have a soft shoe, solution, and it's great.

I really rate mine and have really been enjoying climbing in them, they've been excellent on all angles except the smallest footholds on the steepest ground (but that's probably more my body tension than the shoes). They are a lot softer than the dragons and the V10's and I guess if you are already happy with your solutions then you should stick with the Dragons.

Had a pair for a few months. I hadn't tried them on before hand, and should have gone for a half (or full) size smaller. They're now really soft and not really down turned at all. Really comfy though, I use them for arsing about in more than anything. I'd Imagine, if sized correctly, they'd be great.

Tried some on today, how much do they stretch? I bought dragons instead....

I didn't persevere long enough to find out.

About the same as the dragons and the V10's - about half a size i guess.

Anyone know how the 5X size up? They look good for bouldering in with the velcro strap.
