Getting over it now. Was out of action for about 10 days. Expect to feel weak as a kitten afterwards.

Since half term i've gone through a cycle of ill for 5 days, better for 2, ill for 5 days, better for 2.  Ad infinitum....

That's why teachers have long holidays...

Currently 5 days into a shitty flu and feel like utter crap.  Doctor said that it could take two to three weeks to clear  :(  Sympathy for all others who have been unfortunate enough to contract it.

Fortunately I got a copy of Hard XS delivered xmas eve thats kept me entertained.  Very good it is too.  Bought it from slackjaw direct and got 'Kilimanjaro Going for Broke' thrown in for free which I'm holding back on watching, but it should be interesting.

The cycle wouldn't correspond with the teaching would it?  Feel like crap when teaching, feel great at the weekend when not?

After spending a fortune and hours xmas shopping while feeling shit, I awoke on xmas day close to death. How I contained myself when the highlights of my received goods were a sandwich toaster and a pack of large Y-fronts I just don't know. My cries of gratitude were luckily smothered by coughing fits and vomiting.

Merry fucking xmas

Dave, you disappoint me. I was expecting your response to 'being ill' to be entirely different. Fancy trying again?
