On my way into work this morning a new flyer/poster caught my eye and thought I'd give the heads up to everyone else.
Sheffield Medico-Chirurgical Society (http://medchi-sheffield.co.uk/3.html) have Andy Cave giving his "Learning to Breathe" talk/lecture on Thursday 6th December 2007 at 18.45 in LT2 of the Medical School.
The flyer indicates that non-members are welcome (but doesn't mention if there is any fee).

He is working on "Learning to breathe 2 - exhalation" as we speak. Actually, its not called that but there is a second book in the offing.

Below is a photograph of Andy, mid lecture....

Yep, if your facing the main entrance its at the far left end where the bus turning point is. At this map here (http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=53.377658,-1.493315&spn=0.004224,0.010461&z=17&om=1) its just 'above' the Hill part of Beech Hill Road (the roundabout is the bus turning point).

Glad we braved the weather for this one, well worth it if you get the chance to hear Andy talk again.
Another plug for his work...a heads up for this one on R4, Tue 18th Dec...

Not about climbing but should be pretty interesting.
