Unless your thinking of getting seriously into underwater stuff, got one of these badboys you can borrow for nowt. Not mega quality but much better than a disposable, and cheaper than a underwater-digital you might never use again.

the yellow looks good, you might want to get hold of an underwater-adjusted colourwheel to see which colour  best complements your diving outfit. Or get a nikonos IV-A cos its black and hence goes with anything. Or you can get the nikonos V pictured above in o black and olive green combo, which may go nicely if you favour the navy seal look. M16, wetlook aviators, balancing a beach-ball on your nose etc etc.

I have exactly that camera, given to us by rowena's dad. I had thought about trying to use it for photos for surfing, but realistically I don't think it would work as a) if the surfs good I am either in the water or too clod to go back in and b) I think the manual focussing is not really suitable.

If anyone wants to borrow it, feel free. I have no idea what state the seven seals are in.

What's a bible prophecy (http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/sealindx.htm) got to do with it?  ;)

Very astute picking up the biblical reference there young Paduan. I think it actually only has three seals, but it didn't sound as good. None of them can balance a ball either.

It'll take up to 1000ASA, but I'd probably stick to using 400. By the way the Weathermatic is only good for about 5m, unlike the Nik-V's 50m,  :o, All the pretty stuff is near the surface anyway.

I'm enjoying Steve Bell's current take on G-Brown's 'Seals of office'.

Steve Bell? The Ed Miliband one the other day on the back of the G2 was genius "The reason I've made you minister for the first thing that comes into my head..."

5m should be fine for the camera. I doubt I'll be scuba diving to 50m ;D
