according to this (http://www.alhughes.tv/) he's planning on bringing it out on DVD. However that website has not changed in the last 18months so don't hold your breath.

Heard over the weekend that there will be a 2 disc DVD set coming out with Total Control, Gogarth, Buoux 8c and the other one that i've forgotten on it. Around £25 i believe.

That Strone Ulladale vid was terrible. Remember seeing it as a lad.

Neither Gogarth or Total Control were much cop either but Buoux 8c has got to be worth the purchase price, whatever that is.

I saw some footage from this in V12. Jerry climbing Liquid amber is amazing, it looks so good. Also footage of moony on Hubble. Well good!

Which film is it where at the end of the credits, it says something along the lines of...

"we're fucking poor. We don't make many copies of this film... so if you enjoyed it, don't be a tightfisted git and copy it off your mate who just bought it, go out and buy it yourself. We've got to make a living somehow!"

Just thinking it was quite fitting at this moment in time.

well do people really think £20 for a climbing dvd is a good deal? i don't care how many overheads people have either. its a simple question, do people think £20 it a good deal?
i don't and will never buy a climbing dvd at this price. i would possibly pay £14

That's a rather exact figure  :-\

I think £25 for a DVD with not one, not two, but 6 entire, short films in (plus three 5-minute very short films), is fairly good value. How much would you willingly pay for a guidebook? I mean what's that? It's just paper and ink  ;)

We have a load of old videograms that we can no longer play, including Buoux 8c and Strone Ulladale. Free to a good home. PM Percy!

the dude that filmed the real thing did some test footage of ben on hubble, think its got nearly the whole crux sequence. It was on a vid kicking round sheff at the time along with some truely memorable footage of ben pissing along moffatrocity, top bit footless, reverse back down, back to start via low eliminate, back along etc etc etc for about 2 /3 minutes. Think Mr alderson had some as well

It would be good to get that footage you speak of....

Doyle had some footage of moon on Hubble in his video 'Obsession', wonder if its the same stuff?

nah that was ripped from the end of one summer (with pritch's permission of course). There's good footage on Hubble on this new 80s DVD, saw it in the shop.
