I am building a wall at home, does anyone know of a good supply for handholds? or does anyone make there own, if so how and out of what? cheers

Make your own. Use wood. Any old wood will do, but harder woods tend to be better. It's time consuming but cheap and very therapeutic.

I take my laptop into the garage with some music and craft mini masterpieces through the night. I've cut up my old bed which has given me a lot to work with.
When you make your holds, make sure that the grain of the wood is running parallel to the direction in which force will be exerted upon the hold. Pull across the grain, and the hold will snap eventually.
If you want to purchase some for cheap off me in bulk, I'm happy to dispatch some for you. PM me should you wish.
customholds.com do a massive range of very well priced resin holds. Their bolt and t nut prices/quality are excellent.

i agree wood is best for bearing down on.
dylans's house of power (? .co.uk or .com) the so ill importer to the uk... you could PM him. the small footholds are awesome, dont split and worth the cash, dont polish easily either.

nice one cheers. i think i try to make my own, my mates got a router so i will give it a bash with some wood.

I have made some weird holds before now. For example, cut the end off of a broomstick to give a big nipply thing. Hard to use as you have to pinch em hard. Make loads of weird shapes and see what works. Just be aware of grain as above and for fixing your T-nuts etc Adding in a few resins won't burst the bank and reduces the workload.
Enjoy!!

i've had some house of power prototypes on my board for a few months.
They are very very good.... why?
simple design - dont smeg up but not too rough. Bloody good paint job too!!
BTW... i'm not affiliated to Dylan at all.... i just like his stuff!

Cheers for the big up :)
We have just aquired a industrial unit, so not long now until we start manufacturing.
There is a few samples at The Castle in London and we just dropped off at set at The Works tonight. These are not finished versions, but a few shapes from different ranges that we needed feedback on.
Look out for the Quadraphina-esq colours from me and Lu :great:
