Yes, it's Autumn again... can you believe it?! It's not all bad though - with Autumn comes the Boulder Bash 06 on Saturday 4th November here at Craggy Island and this year we plan to make it even bigger and better than last!
The event will follow a similar pattern to last years and feature the bouldering competition, lead and speed climbing challenges and the extremely popular Dyno competition.
Registration will start at 08:30 and the competitions will start at 10:00 and finish at 18:30 with the presentation of results and prizes.
Categories will be as follows:
Male Open (16+)
Female Open (16+)
Veterans (40+)
Male Junior (8-15)
Female Junior (8-15)
*Craggy Masters (Males, Females, Veterans,
Male Juniors and Female Juniors
who are members of Craggy Island)
There will be something for everyone so even if you've only just come into the sport you'll be scoring some points and being a part of the action.
*This year we have also created the "Craggy Masters". This is an award which will be given to the highest ranked Craggy Island member in each of the categories. Winners will take home 24 free days of climbing at Craggy Island to use at their convenience. It's a kind of "locals prize" for "local people"...
Cash and gear prizes are up for grabs for all of the categories with individual prizes of up to £250.00!
To register for the Boulder Bash all you need to do is complete a registration form and return it to us asap! The entry fee is just £10 to enter all or any of the individual competitions and prizes will be awarded for each of the individual comps and the overall winners in each category. We strongly recommend pre-registration as numbers will be limited!
Know someone who'd like to be involved but isn't a climber? They can volunteer to help us out on the day to keep the event running smoothly - contact Danie Rushmer for further details.

See you there!
