Planning a trip up to northumberland for the bouldering on the first or second weekend in november.

need to know
a good campsite near a...
a good pub with a log fire, good food and real ale (gets dark early in november you see)
a good surf break to visit if the weather craps out.

On the surfing front, check out Bamburgh. Exposed gorgeous beach, with nice castle. heard mutterings of good stuff on Lindisfame itself, but not actually checked it out.

Best pub is The (Olde?) Ship in Seahouses. The rest are full of freaks.

Yeah, like the Apple Inn  in Lucker was full of archeologists this weekend...
