Burbage north last night was in amazing condition, considering its late april! OK it was a tad (i.e. horrendously) windy, but those slopers were sticking like shit to a blanket. Yet the place was deserted  You could have parked an 18-wheeler sideways in that carpark!
The moral of this story - never write off an evening on the grit, no matter how wet the day has been.
-
I was tempted to go out, but we're dealing with an invasion of those horrible little gold moths that eat yer clothes at home, so the evening was spent washing entire wardrobes and vacuuming like a mo-crusher - those moths are evil - once you've had one they're a bitch to get rid of....and they chewed my lush Burton snowboarding jacket to bits the little f*ckers
-
what that one that's about as old as you ?
-
I only wore the damn thing about 3 times and now it's full of holes, the little fuckers - still, after washing all my clothes and 3 hours vacuuming and spraying tonight, the bastards should be sorted.
-
plantation was practically deserted last night, which was nice for a change.
-
Looking a bit grim now though, innit? Though not too bad in the Peak this weekend according to metcheck.
I just went to the gym last night, should have really mate the effort to get out. Definitely out Sun/Mon if I don't go caving

Wondering where you'd got to Stu - though you'd come down with a nasty dose of S.A.R.S. !

never has flying on cheap standby tickets been so easy - flights each way were barely half full! (slightly worrying as Grace works for Cathay Pacific though as they've slashed over 50% of their flights!)
still walking around sans face mask - not convinced they help - and still don't even know anyone who even knows anyone who's had it - load of media hype if you ask me
