Title: Peak raider picks Yorkshire plum.
Post by: Bubba on April 17, 2003, 01:40:24 pm
Sorry 'bout the title, I've been dying to say that for ages, Fatboy will understand

Jon Fulwood continues his new problem frenzy with Peshmurga (V7) at Whitehouses.

Would these new problem reports be better in the "News" section of the forum, do you think?

Depends if its news or not. No offence to anyone but the wider climbing world is only really gonna consider news as being like "steve mclure does realization" or "malc flashes spectre" and that kind of thing.

True, but should a uk bouldering site be addressing the wider climbing community?

I'm happy either way, I'm just concious that people read the news section more than the notices section. Perhaps it should only be in news if it's very hard / last great problem / new crag type thing?

Think you've got it about right there Bubba. If it is newsworthy stick it in the news section, if it ain't stick it in notices...

Or just carry on putting it all in notices, I'll read it either way.
