Okay this is mostly a topic to show Chris my ticklist as he asked:
http://www.fiendy.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/saticklist.html
...and later on some photos hopefully. But also a thread suitable general discussion...
Cedarberg is amazing. Rocklands is amazinger still.
Paarl is awesome.
Montagu is a bit overrated.
Sport climbing around Cape Town is great in the right places.
Trad is also great despite mountain walk-ins blah blah.
Droerwors is one of the best food-substances on Planet Earth.
....actually there isn't that much to discuss =).
Oh and finally, it's where Salt-beef can moan about the weather :D

Nice one Matt, some good ticks in there! I agree about Montagu, rock always feels slippery, guess you would get used to it in time though.
-
how long were you out here fiend. so far i have ventured to topside twice. and i think i've topped one problem, saturday the weather was grim! but we still cranked, nearly did "sarah" but after 4 hours of climbing in force 10 was a bit pooped. will try and hit rocklands soon, unfortunately the nice weather seems to be during the week, like today, but i have an academic meeting in half an hour. joy.

And PS there is a shop in Edinburgh that sells excellent droewors, will pick some up this weekend.
And they are not the only ones http://www.rainbownation.com/directory/index.asp?CatID=22
