Was wondering if this would be a good way to make a climbing film? Had a quick google and found these:

for 100 pound a week you'd have to of shot that whole thing in about 3-4 weeks to make it worth it. If you have mabey a weekend trip planned and you want to take a lot of footage over the weekend but never again then i guess its a good idea, but for those prices i guess it makes more sense to save up a little or mabey split the cost with your mates?

If you can afford to rent one, you can afford to buy one (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=86686).

No point in renting a pro model unless you know how to make best use out it. If you have to rent something, you can guarantee that something (weather, injury, your subjects etc) will let you down when its costing you £50 a day
