Just for a record, has this been flashed and who by? I have heard the names Tim Clifford, Andy Brown and Roy Whatsisname having done it. Anyone know for sure?

think rich simpson may have flashed it a couple of years back....positive i read about it during an online debate about whether west side story was english 7a of not.....hope thats not opened up a new can o'fworms :roll:

Darren Stevenson certainly had it dialled. He showed me at least half a dozen different methods one afternoon.

Darren was exceptional at dialling things and making things look utterly piss - brad pit and i remember all quiet on the western front being a particularly good sandbag!

In my experience, having stuff dialed is usually the result of having to work it.
The only name I've heard is Matt Birch... though twas never more than a story...

Did not flash west side, took me about ten attempts over two days in 1996,
brad pit was six attempts over two days 1999, really annoyed with this one as I fell off the jug on my fourth attempt, first day
Ben was not quite correct as I flashed L,infidele at bas cuvier which was 7C+ but only 7B+ with the toe hook. Prouder of doing La Berizina second attempt with no toe hook.
Probably matt flashed as he is a mutant in the nicest possible way

ha ha ha i remember that well. he has lost the belly actually. in part due to his stomach problems :(
