Oh dear.....
Not much really that could be classed as 'of note' within an hour or so of brizzle.
I'm afraid you just have to develop a liking for Gollum's if you're going to live there for a while......

The first three would be of the place I was trying to keep low profile, the second two are taken well, as they make a tramp's cave (the infamous Gollum's Cave) look good. It isn't.

Got no email, but may be because i was unregistered for a bit. Did you send it by personal message on here, or hotmail? You walk down to Gollum's Cave from the top of the gorge; park in suburban clifton. There was an article compiled by Ian Hill at some point. Once again I say it isn't worth it. What did you get done at the place that may not be named? Can you resend email?

On the subject of Bathford, could anybody help me out with a guide for the area? I have been using the Bathford for a number of years now and am familiar with each seperate boulder area but am completely lost when it comes to grades of problems. I appreciate that there are currently issues with the access there, hence no guide on the site, but as an already regular user of the venue i could really do with some grade and problem listings. If anyone can help then I would be very grateful.

Cheers

I think 'low profile' should give you a clue

Is knowing the grades worth sacrificing access? If so try getting in contact with Mike Raine or Ben ? (from Bath) they were also early developers, but  we didn't bother naming and grading stuff, the big boulder has too many eliminates to describe other than the main lines anyway.

I can't see how knowing the grades of problems is going to sacrifice the access there anymore than me going there without knowing them. Like I said, I have been using the place for years and not knowing them will not stop me going there. All I was inquiring about is to see if any of the other users of this site had a guide of sorts that would help me out a little. As a resident of Bathford it is my local area and my interests are in looking after the place, not causing problems.

As soon as grades, names etc start getting publicised there is always an upsurge of interest. Enjoy it for what it is.
