Post by: a dense loner on November 28, 2004, 10:51:35 am: have made the fatal mistake of believing things that people tell me.

booked this friday comin n the monday off work to go to font with a couple of experienced rock cats. they then remember that they're washing their hair. anyway is anyone interested in coming to font thurs nite. staying in formula 1 n coming back mon aft, on the ferry. with 3 people prob about Â£80 less with 4. the only drawback is that jim is driving. this is twofold 1) we may not make it n 2)jim will be there

we both live on the right side of the peak btw, madchester but are willing to drive thro shef down to m1

i can personally guarantee crisp conditions blue skies n the power n the subtlety coming together to make it a very special trip

Not if it's me bloody climbing you can't!!

Seriously I could be very interested, never been to Font before and all - BUT I'm lacking in moral fibre and tend to go a bit loopy if weather cacks out on a trip.... So is it normally okay this time of year and is it likely to be okay given the gashness this side of the English Channel?

And if it is okay, would it be okay if I came, and when would you need to know by??

fully psyched now. just hope I don't shread my fingers too much in these amazing condition on the grit today
