I'm off to Canada climbing in Skaha & bouldering in Squamish.
Has anyone been / can recommend good websites / problems?
Seem to be loads of problems on 8a.nu not in online guide I have? Is there a more up to date one?
Apparently there is a mega project at Squamish on a boulder that you use for a jump start to an 8b+/8c route? Know where it is?
cheers

it's not worth the hype. mega proj is "called" fortress of solitude. class line. i've got as far as everyone else on it  that suggested grade is nonsense
the egg also goes from a sitter unlike the guy in the video link doin it.
hopefully there is a new guide out cos the old one was useless. a lot of big grades seem to be comin out of there at the mo
for all this it's good for a holiday n the probs up to V5 r more or less all class, above that it's tree branch knarl , spotters n pads out of your ears i'm afraid

the proj is just left of the kakademon boulder underneath the 8b+ route.
didn't notice the skaha bit in post. skaha is quite nice if you're into dirty routes, nice place too n there is some bouldering there now somewhere. hope you're fit, the walk in is nearly vertical! sign at the bottom of steps says "these steps must only be undetrtaken by experienced climbers" or similar
