[The access charge] has been increased to £5 for climbers.
There has been suggestion of a season ticket which may be of some comfort for regular users.
There has to be some connection with the access problems from late last autumn - as promised, the owner has 'reviewed' the situation after a year.

£5?

i know there's a bit of tension between here and ukc, but there's a vaguely interesting discussion going on over there, varying from boycotting the place to a mass trespass a la kinder...

providing everybody does not gate crash i will be quite happy as the price of a season ticket will be much cheaper than the usual £2 per session for the amount of use i give the crag.

it might also have the effect of keeping the crowds down, the place was far to busy for my likeing this summer.

ooooooh happy days :D
