Title: Good Physio around the North West?
Post by: Adam Lincoln on March 29, 2016, 10:59:28 am
Looking for a good physio in the north west that works with and understands climbers. Been recommended a few but none have the right qualifications that my health plan accepts.

Not really what you are looking for I suspect, but Nick Vine in Didsbury was recommended to me by a few people on here when I had a wonky back last year.

He's an Osteo not a Physio though... that said, I went with a fairly hefty dose of scepticism and he gave me some sensible advice (and some back clicking) that helped me make things better...

Good luck though - it seems incredibly hit and miss how good people are and/or what advice they give...

Laura Robson at Harris and Ross in Handforth did a great job of helping me repair a torn lat last year.
I got their recommendation from someone on here, can't remember who though.

I also believe they also helped out a certain top UK female boulderer with something last year, but they may have ended up referred her on to a hand specialist if I remember rightly.

They get my vote anyway - http://www.harrisandross.co.uk/

He sponsors my colleague Marc Heuston who I'm sat next to. He's also Bradley Wiggins soigneur (if that's the right word?). High praise indeed.
