I've got a knee problem that mean I've been unable to run without pain for a while now which also gets bad when driving (using the clutch a lot).
It put me out of action for a while after initially being hurt on a run around 6 months ago. I saw a physio down south on a work trip which was followed by lots of rest and exercises. Some 2-3 mile test runs have resulted in a similar pain so I'm keen to get to a proper course of treatment this time.
I'm now based in the Leeds/Skipton area so any recommendations would be welcome.
Thanks!

I used Chris at myphysio in harrogate. I thought he was good.

From the symptoms you describe, I would think you will get a very quick referral on the NHS. I expected to get nowhere (probably from believing what the media say - that the NHS is crap) and was amazed at how efficient everything was.
Called up my GP surgery on the first day it was open after the Christmas break. Had a call back from a nurse practitioner an hour later who referred me to physio without needing to call in to see a GP. Booked this in at a private practice (which I may have been paying to use had I not gone through the NHS) a couple of days later at a time that suited my work committments.
All free. What's not to love?

I've tended to go and see James Pacey over recent years. He does a clinic at the climbing wall in York, but he's also at the Wharfedale Clinic in Guiseley. Been to see him with both running/climbing injuries and he's sorted them all out.

Rory Holliday previously worked out of The Depot in Leeds and he comes well recommended... He now has a place in Yeadon
