Spent Sunday morning at Popular End and Plantation car parks with Bill Gordon selling Stanage Stickers. Just wanted to say it was downright heart-warming - almost 100% positive response from climbers and loads of money in the tin! If you haven't got yours yet - http://www.bmcshop.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=225&products_id=6466

It runs for the financial year Kelvin, so it will run out next April 1st. That's why there's such a big push to sell them now. Think it's currently beyond the resources of the PDNPA to do a calendar year but may push them to do that in time....

Hey mine says 2015/16 so I'm expecting it to be valid to 31st Dec 2016.

The car sticker will get free parking at the Stanage car parks and a discount at the North Lees campsite. (http://www.bmcshop.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=225&products_id=6466)
Currently only one of the three car parks has charges, by the Plantation. I wonder if the use of plural in the above is suggesting that High Neb and Popular End car parks are to have charges introduced?
Got my sticker, still parked outside Plantation last night as the gates were to be closed at 21:30 and knew full well we wouldn't be down in time.

At the other car parks you just get the right to shunt other non-badge-wearing cars out of a parking space on busy days.
