Assuming the bat ban has now lifted - has anyone been down in the last couple of days? Would hugely appreciate any recent knowledge on wetness.
-
Noticed on facebook that James Squire has been there recently. He said that the ban is not officially lifted yet but made no mention of conditions.
-
The name not lifted yet, he's contacted natural England but need to wait for them to send an official inspector over.
-
Name = ban obvs. James was just there to check for bats, not climbing.

Yeh I suppose my post could have been interpreted as him climbing there instead of checking it out. I'm sure he had a good look at what was dry though!
-
Given the amount of rain that's fallen in the last couple of days i'd steer clear for a bit anyway.
-
Anyone heard? Asked James on fb today but no reply as yet.
-
No idea on conditions, but James has just confirmed on fb that it's open.
-
Everything dry except the angels traverses
-
Is all a bit drippy at the moment
-
Thanks for the heads up. Is the stuff to the left of the cave (Freshly Squeezed to Pop for the Top) climbable?
-
Most of crag dry, from left to peketts traverse. Maybe couple of damp holds. A few drips across the arch, you could probably climb across it after a bit of drying on the odd hold
-
Anyone been down recently? Is it dry or has it seeped with the recent rain? Thinking about heading down tomorrow evening.
