Title: Miura VS sizing compared to Solutions
Post by: blacky on April 20, 2015, 07:54:02 pm
Anyone any ideas on what size I would be in Miura VS if I'm 40.5 in Solutions.

Fairly specific question I know  :tumble:

I wear my Solutions one size bigger than VS's and Pythons, and Speedsters a half size smaller, if that helps.

Hey thanks both, genuinely didn't think I would get any replies.

The Dom - do you mean one full  size e.g. I'm 40.5 in Solutions, so would be 39.5 in VSs? Or a half size increment?

Banana Fingers has 10% of all la sportiva shoes at the moment btw.

44 in Solutions, 43 in Pythons/Miura VSs and 42.5 in Speedsters

All the La Sportiva are hand made so I wouldn't expect and exact size translation.  Here are my sizes.  I have a high volume foot with a low volume heel.  I generally have to stretch out the shoes before I actually climb in them.

Miura VS 41
New Solution 40.5
Python 39.5
Old Solution 41
Testarossa 41
Katana 41

Hope that helps.
