Just seen the line up and a few noteworthy acts of varying genres to go at, personally GoGo Penguin, Kate Tempest and Surgeon are up there. Not sure I'm keen on how it's morphed over the years from a free festival for the city to a proper festival in its own right but guess it's inevitable. And mixed views on the move of main stage too but sure it will work well.

Not really happy that main stage has moved right near mine. Grass was pretty trashed from peace in the park last year, but there's gonna be loads of rubbish after this. And I bet everyone comes for a piss down my alley. Not even a sniff of a free ticket in return :boohoo:

Supposedly "limited" free tickets for residents, on this page;
http://www.tramlines.org.uk/info/ (http://www.tramlines.org.uk/info/)
but as you say, probably doesn't balance the disruption. Devonshire green seemed like the perfect venue, minimum number of local residents and those that do live by probably don't mind noise as a rule else wouldn't choose to live in the city centre. I think the main reason for the move is more people = more revenue.

Website is still showing main stage as being on Dev Green, can I assume from the mention of Peace in the Park venues it's been moved to the Ponderosa?

Somehow that typo seems appropriate :)

Get in quick if you're keen, only Saturday tickets left now. Kids tickets are 'free' (£1 postage) but limited. I bought two weekend passes for us months ago before the kids tickets were available but forgot to get kids tickets until today. Hence only can get Saturday ones. If anyone hears of anyone with spare Sunday kids tickets let me know. :please:

Likewise, a friend is after a Friday or weekend ticket, pm me if you hear of any going. For me, it's going to be Surgeon at Hope Works on Friday, after that all bets are off....

As there was a max of 10 tics per order something tells me there'll be a fair few touts outside the wristband exchange. May have to pay a bit more but I recon they'll be available.

She's at some fancy conference down in London at the moment but have messaged her for views. Personally I think we won't need them but will confirm tomorrow. If that's the case I can always stick them in the post.
