Title: Lost a lens in Font
Post by: Johnny Brown on January 19, 2015, 11:45:20 am
Came back from Font in November minus my favourite lens. It's a bit of an old, rare item with a mount conversion so quite valuable but unlikely to be much use to anyone. Emailed the gite and been keeping an eye on ebay but hasn't appeared.

Anyone got any knowledge on french bouldering lost/ found forums? It was probably dropped at Cuvier or Apremont.

Worth posting on bleau.info forum?

Sure someone here / me if you want can translate suitably for you if you need it.

I didn't know there was one tbh, I thought it was just comments on the problems. Doesn't look very popular, are there any other relevant forums?

I think a lot of people check bleau.info, but don't comment on it, it's worth a shot. I f you want something written up in French, just send me a version in English.

The weather hasn't been that good since the end of November, so it coulod still be out in the forest somewhere.

Cheers, I'll give it a go. I think it was either under Carnage (in which case immediately snadgered), or near Le Gong, in which case it'll still be in the bracken.

maybe contact the ladies who work around there - one of them might have seen it whilst flattening the bracken
