Anyone been here recently? It looks like somewhere with high potential for midges and green rock?
Also, is it worth wasting one of my weekend days going there? I've been hooked up with a colleagues boyfriend (so to speak) and he's keen on going there. Looking at the guidebook it all seems to be easy stuff except The Whippet which is the other end of the spectrum and I'm sure it's too warm to be trying such things anyway.
Cheers!

It's not a place I'd frequent but it has quite a few good probs, def worth a visit

I went once. Thought it was a bit shit.

It's largely a crag designed for the esoterica parade and for students living in Crookes without a car. But it's got a few nice bits I enjoy.

Thanks guys. Perhaps I'll suggest somewhere else and wait until I'm strong enough to try the whippet before going.
I think my colleague's bf almost fits your profile except I think he's graduated within the last few years.

Off the top of my head there's at least 3 5c's that are worth the short trip for, without the little boulder tagged on the end with a couple of good probs whose grades i can't remember. The thing to remember about Barrows is its all training for the end goal with him, there's actually no love for climbing there

Cheers, I'll definitely stop in at some point. Maybe just save it for a day that I'm short on time after work or something.

That's the idea.
