Little Ang is currently in Spain for a few weeks.

No offense to ASJ but I am so bored of climbing wonder children. I hope climbing doesn't become another womens gymnastics, where if you didn't start by 5 then you don't have a shot and your career is practically over at age 18.
Maybe the Russians will start forcibly removing promising kids from there homes and sending the away to special training schools like they did to gymnasts. Perhaps as they slowly annex all of Eastern Europe they will create a climbing master race the like of which the world has never seen.

It's a bit demotivating to see someone apparently climb hard stuff so easily. More inspiring to see people fighting, failing, fighting then suceeded i guess. Regarding the young people climbing hard stuff, it does make me cringe a bit thinking about the potential physical damage but on the otherside, i guess it is a nice experience for a kid to get out in nature etc etc. It'll be a case by case thing. Depends mostly on the parent's attitude. What i would find a bit out of order is adults encouraging kids to do dangerous trad routes.

It's a reference to Jeff Moll - he did the FA of loads of routes in the Red.
