Got a new line I found. Looks like it could be quite good but just need some advice/opinions.
The rock on the bottom right of the pic is directly under the line (blunt prow).
Its going to be a back breaker but too big to move so I'm considering taking to it with a sledgehammer.
What are peoples thoughts with doing so?

This is a wind up, right? Put a couple of pads on it and "Harden the Fuck Up".

hard to tell from the pic but looks like you'd be fine with a pad and spot.

id get some dynamite and blow the fucker in to the next village

Have you tried reasoning with it first?
Definitely climb the line before you move that block. MTFU. It might climb terribly and may not seem worth the effort.

I'd probably consider dynamite. You need a licence but I imagine it is pretty easy to get hold of in Oz what with all the mining (the dynamite not the licence). Use 2 or 3 small charges instead of one big one in 0.3m bore holes. You will need to erect a bit of scaffolding around the prow and secure some blast sheets to protect the problem. Good luck.

Australia has a very different ethic to the UK when it comes to patio building and rock removal. You seem like a keen you man Jack, but with all the quality climbing at Nowra does this bit of choss need climbing?

There could be snakes about too, so I'd probably finish off with a couple of napalm strikes to make sure it's safe!

Wrap a piece of primacord around it. Reduce it to smithereens (a great word!). Seriously I reckon with a couple of 8ft crowbars you could flip it no bother.

I thought you meant this a joke. I'm still pretty convinced you did. I'm guessing some didn't...I'm fucking scared. :badidea:
