Title: DH, times are a changing
Post by: fatdoc on February 21, 2013, 10:40:36 pm
Yep u can buy ten grand bikes now...

Or u can accept low and high speed compression ratios on shock tunes mean the devil of single pivots are now admonished..o

So... As long as I can get enough sag... This is perhaps the BOLLOX..

And yes, it's a Kona, I want one.... A lot

Thought you'd like it

The science bit I was referring to was the now near separate high and low speed compression circuits found on BOS, cane creek and to an extent Fox shocks allows for a very deep starting sag, that no longer blows through travel. That, with a brake anchored to the chain stay, not seat stay gives a lessened brake jack and increased grip when braking.

I then can't help thinking the now astronomical costs for multi linkage bikes is one I can't justify.
