Let's face it, Huw. We're only going to be there for 10 minutes until we realise we're shit and go elsewhere!

In my experience, with a breeze it dries in the time it takes to drive to Pateley Bridge to consume a pot of tea and a scone. Which is probably worth doing either way.

How do you manage to climb so well on so much cake?

Whitehouses takes about the same amount of time to dry as the Cliff does.

I think someone has chipped the small crimpy hold on Peshmerga, noticeably better today than it was when I did the problem last Sunday, and what looks like chisel marks and fresh rock.  Some photos here http://imgur.com/a/3qW5n (http://imgur.com/a/3qW5n) (not adding them directly as they are massive).

I really don't understand why people do stuff like this, seems especially odd at what is a seldom visited venue.

It's something I've never been able to get my head round. Even for the most selfish person who doesn't care that they're ruining something for others, what's the point? You make a hold bigger so the problem is easier and therefore you haven't done the problem.

Why not just Gaskins it instead and then the problem is still there for someone else to actually do?
