Are there any good alternatives to these (http://www.highball-climbing.com/products/prd_03.shtml) for mounting fingerboards within door frames?
I do not want to stick it above the door frame because we have completely refurbished the house at great expense and would rather not have it mounted in the hall permanently. Also I'm too short to reach if I put it there.

Will it be in a "private" room or in a public part of the house?
In the first case, bolt it safely to the wall, and reach with a small ladder or a crash pad.
In the second case, bolt it safely to the wall, and reach with a small ladder or a (cleaner) crash pad.
Safety first.

I own the house and I am intending on mounting it over the kitchen doorway. Not sure if a ladder is such a good idea...

Was told about THIS (http://www.climbukshop.com/product.php/149/fingerboard-doorway-mounting-system) over the weekend.
Has anyone had any experience of it?
