I'm saying Baslow? just cos of the road in the background looks a bit like the one down from Curbar?
-
No, its not Baslow. I was actualy quite surprised to find you could take photos this good at this crag. I might post another photo as a clue is a while.
-
It's not Bell Hagg is it?
Seems familiar.......
-
I vote for Hell Bag too - sure I've done this problem when I were a rodent in halls up that way!
-
Yeah it is Bell sHagg, a bit easy that one. Some other good 70's photos on that site of BH:

and the road must be the snake then?
-
well, it'll be the A57, but not really the Snake at that point.....
-
Is it actually the A57 or is it that lane going down towards it? thinking eth orientation is all wrong....
-
I can't think of a slab like that at Smell Fag, it looks quite good, maybe I will go back there one day, as regards that lane thing - thats quite a bit further up I reckon - if you mean the one that goes back up from A57 (not the snake then you pedantic buggers) that is.
-
I think that slab at Bull Slagg is called All Hollows and is round to the east of Nunn's eliminate.
That yeah it must be the A57 then, i think i had me roads mixed up, it was moider.
-
Bit of a one move wonder I think....but my decrepit memory could well be failing me. I reckon it's the A57 and not the lane, but it just looks like the lane - I guess the A57 used to be not much more than a cart-track back in them days.
Some nice pics on that site - like the posing shot on Flying Buttress Direct.
-
I like on the bell hagg one how he's climbing in purple flares (cords?) and a skin-tight bri-nylon top. Class.
Also i can't get over that some people do wuthering facing out - crazy:

That looks hideous! Maybe he had extra-fine heel control or something.
