Title: Nic Sellars has done the direct start to Balance it is
Post by: benpritch on May 21, 2012, 02:59:06 pm
Heard from Rich Heap that Nic climbed the direct start to Balance it is today with a runner on the left. Don't know any more than this. Brilliant stuff from Nic.

good effort - does this mean that he won't have had the gear on boggart?

From the looks of it from this angle http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=63383 (http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=63383) ; starting straight up the arete with a runner in that crack out L I'd imagine :-\

Looks like it might be tricky getting to boggart & then back?

Great effort Nick.

Rich said he had a runner on the left with no side runners in the boggart.

Effort! Any word on name and grade?

He joked that he might name it 'Ridiculously lame middle aged side runner'

Fine effort though and in the bag just as it warms up...
