Title: Font restaurants
Post by: ali k on March 27, 2012, 02:20:40 pm
With the demise of Chalet Jobert since my last trip to Font many years ago where are people eating these days? Any recommendations for good cheap French grub, preferably on the SE side of Font, as that's where we'll be staying.  :beer2:

Gavotine, Moret-sur-Loing (http://g.co/maps/ne4p2) has been very good in the past.

Does that place serve slabs of meat with fries and other traditional French fare?

Can't remember what anyone actually ate (two years ago since last going, but don't remember fries*) but it was traditional french cuisine and very tasty.

* There is a kebab shop further down the road in the walled part of town which will probably do a some fries and a slab of meat. :clown:
