just got my 12 month "you haven't logged into your account" email from ukc.this is despite asking them to delete my account and never email me again.anyone passed the 2 year point and actually had the account delete?
-
That's like a badge of honour. I'd print it out and frame it.
-
I still get those e-mails too, although I didn't bother asking to delete the account. I too feel it is a badge of honour!!

It can be deleted. They weren't keen on doing it. Meant removing posts from threads and deleting photos blah blah blah. Which made me all the more keen.

alan james personally told me he wouldnt delete my account and while i could probably make him under the data protection act it would still mean having to deal with him again which i cant be bothered with tbh

They may say that, but I think it's more to do with keeping the number of registered users as high as possible to increase ad revenue. Not that I'm cynical.

Hi Simon,
I've unbanned your account, please don't refer to rocktalk as cocktalk.
Cheers,
Paul Phillips, Chief Technical Developer.
Apparently using the word in a post, automatically triggers a ban :devil-smiley:

I recently got an e-mail to say my account will be deleted as I haven't used it in aeons. Good.
