I did the problem to the middle of the break last week but didnt have the balls to go for the arete with only 1 mat and 1 spotter :(
I was just wondering if everyone uses the same footholds for the 2 variations (mid-break and arete)?
I got my left foot high into a little horizontal hole thing and my right was lower down on a good pebble for going to the break. Also, is it best to try to move you hand up the arete gradually or really through to the break arete in a big move?
cheers
PS. that sidpell rags doesnt it!?

You can hook the right foot/heel round arete so you can do the move static. Works well

just jump-it's attitude inspector, not sexuality inspector...

i use lower horizontal pocket-type thing for left foot n smear next to shiny pebble. right hand on obvious gratin bit of arete n just leap. goin to top wi right hand.

Think my feet were in same place, but u can slap up the arete before you go for the break, makes it easier to catch. U gotta slap it tho, none of this toe hooking nonsense
