Title: A big favour - charity shizzle
Post by: Fultonius on October 12, 2011, 04:11:22 pm
Hi UKB Folks,

I need to ask a favour. It wont cost you a penny and will only take a few minutes to register to vote.

My Dad hasn't been too well over the last couple of years but his work/research into oxygen therapy has not only been a massive benefit to his health but has now enabled him to help others.

He is starting a charity and needs funding. This charity will help such a broad spectrum of the community from people suffering with MS to diabetes. (if you want any more information, please ask on this thread and I'll try and get back to you )

All I need you guys to do is vote.

Perth Hyperbaric Services & the RBS Community Fund

Details of the centre are attached.
Our project has been accepted by the RBS Community Fund and we need your vote.
In each area there are 3 x £6000 awards for those project getting the largest number of votes.
How to Vote ?
1. First Register at https://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/user/register/ (https://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/user/register/)
2. Then, log on and vote. After logging on simply use this URL http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/996 (http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/996) and
it should take you straight to our project....

We're only 20 or 30 votes behind 3rd place, so it wont take many votes to catch up.

Cheers,

Al.

P.S. I got the  :2thumbsup: from the mods before posting this. I'm not a big fan of spamming forums, but as it's a good cause...

Also, you may or may not know that I had a multi-ligament reconstruction in my knee last year and there's some limited research indicating that it may be quite beneficial for post-operative recovery in these types of operations. I

I had around a session a day for the first 2 weeks and then maybe every 2nd day for the next 2 weeks. Obviously I have nothing to compare my results with, but the welling went doen quickly, scar healed very wll and this year I did my first F8a.

 :2thumbsup:

Thanks a lot to all of you who registered to vote!  We're now up to 265 votes, which might be enough to get us in the top 3!!

Every vote counts though, so if you have a couple of minutes spare, it would great if you could vote too!

Cheers. (Even you Chris, you winging old man!) ;-)
